Supervision is offered 1:1 to all helping professions. To social workers, community welfare workers, case manager, as well as other allied health and helping professions working in the welfare sector.
External Supervision is a space seperate from your workplace for reflection, time to process complex work and making sense of experiences. Its a place for navigating tricky systems and building your sense of professional identity. Sometimes call clinical supervision, external supervision or just supervision its a pivotal part of developing as a social worker.
I bring my experience of working within the complex child protection system, an integrated theoretical approach, a focus on identity building and reflection, as well as being a team member, team leader and social worker. For professionals other than social work, or if supervision is new to you, I am passionate about bringing the beauty of reflective supervision to you. If you are not sure if this is you, but you’re interested to see how supervision can expand your practice, please reach out. My opinion is that anyone who comes into contact with grief and trauma will benefit from a place to breathe and reflect.
You can book how you like, but for maximum benefit of an ongoing relationship, booking in discounted blocks can help. A once off session may help you explore a particular issue, crossroads, a debrief or get a taste of it. Or you might choose a block of 3 or 6 for example or an ongoing spot. See fees for more details.
